Privacy Policy

Account information. When an account is created — by invitation or sign-in — we receive your name, email address, and authentication identifiers through our identity provider, Clerk. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from Google; we do not receive your password.

Content you provide. Companies, records, and documents uploaded to the Dataroom are stored on our behalf by Google Cloud Platform and are accessible only to users granted a role in the relevant company workspace.

Usage information. We collect standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operations.

We use information solely to provide, secure, and improve the Services: authenticating users, enforcing role-based access to company workspaces, sending service emails such as invitations, and maintaining audit and security logs. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising or to train machine-learning models.

We share information only with service providers that operate the platform — Clerk (authentication), Google Cloud Platform (hosting, database, and file storage) — and as required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of NetLawyers, our users, or the public. Documents and records are visible to other users only according to the roles granted within each company workspace.

All traffic is encrypted in transit, files are stored in access-controlled cloud storage with no direct public access, and every request is authorized against your role. We retain account information and content for as long as the relevant account or company workspace remains active, and thereafter as needed to comply with legal obligations.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Deleting your authentication account removes your access; content belonging to a company workspace remains subject to that company's administration.

The Services use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management (provided by Clerk). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
